15/05/2013 DTB Midweek Introducing Mix Presents: Pendleton

The mix for this week comes from a delightful chap from Southern England known as Pendleton, or Shaun Lee to his mother. Some lovely feel good vibes and smooth transitions here Shaun.

“My name is Shaun Lee, I go under the alias of Pendleton. I first got into mixing through my love of music, it seemed more fun to be mixing my favourite tracks rather than just playing them. I’m currently studying a DJ and Music Production course at Cornwall College with a organisation called dBs Music. This has been a great opportunity to delve further into this hobby and pick up some production skills which will serve me well in the future. The kind of sounds I like to play and produce vary from more minimal darker drum and bass from the likes of clarity, ruff house, overlook, loxy following labels such as critical records, ingredients records and exit records. To the more upbeat vibes the UK bass and deep house scene offers following artists like huxley, dusky, hot since 82, paleman, french fries and so on. Like to thank the Dem Taystea crew for the chance to record a mix for you guys and hope to help  push this Swansea based music collective onto bigger and better things in the future!

Cheers and gone
